The Carbon Finance Bootcamp leverages existing university resources, expertise, and connections to industry and philanthropic leaders to launch a world-class upskilling educational experience at the nexus of climate change, finance, technology, and society. The goal of the bootcamp is to train a new generation of climate and sustainability leaders, and to advise land managers, investors, consultants, and other stakeholders on the complex landscape of carbon finance and carbon management, and how to leverage this knowledge to meet climate, sustainability and net zero goals. This course is offered in partnership with Colorado State University (CSU).

Graduates and Corporate Sustainability Professionals
• Learn and gain insights on common market areas, finance mechanisms, and industry jargon to bring participants up to speed on the latest discourse, trends, and directions of the field.
• Review and evaluate peer-review scientific literature
• Gain an understanding of key literature (aka “must-reads”), keystone ideas from thought leaders, and tensions and tradeoffs in the field. As well as a full annotated bibliography of the field, including “must reads” is provided to all participants so they can go more in depth on topics of their choosing.
