How do you make your business more sustainable? How do you build sustainable practices, data collection, and reporting into the way your company does business? As a supplier of goods and services, your customers, employees, regulators, and local community are increasingly demanding more environmentally and socially responsible business. A supplier code of conduct is one way corporations establish a set of legal and ethical guidelines for supply chain vendors to follow. Environmental, social, governance assessments and data requests are another approach companies are using with their suppliers.
As a vendor or supplier, aligning your values and business practices with the organizations you work with is of paramount importance in today’s world of more sustainably run business. More organizations are defining their social and ethical standards policies, reducing their carbon emissions footprint, setting expectations and requiring transparency. This two to three day workshop course will illustrate how you can meet organizational expectations, engage in practical exercises, and in the process, help you improve your company’s sustainability practices and data collection.
